April 3 - Our 2nd Jack Movie

Our first movie is still on our Canon ZR90 camcorder which uses mini tapes and I am having problems trying to find out how to download the analogue into digital format. What a nuisance. Anyway, this morning I made this using my built-in iSight for Dad, Annie and Roxy in Ireland.

I would have taken down Jack's face cloths from drying on the shower curtain ... but these days it is all about Jack and I did not notice them until tonight after downloading the photograph. I am glad I have this image. Plus, Jack is already showing an interest in photography.

This is Jack on the morning of Friday 20th March - his grandpa Papa Derek's birthday. I hope your day is a special one dad!

Patrick likes his hair like this at all times. When I started iChatting with him yesterday his hair was pre-gel and flat and I commented on how nice it looked. He immediately showed me his can of Redken gel and proceeded to apply it and asked me to take a snapshot to show Mum (because she does not appreciate his "wild" daily look).

Our son, John 'Jack' Derek Thayer was born at Saratoga Springs' Hospital on Wednesday 14th January (sharing his uncle Patrick's birthday) at 1:52 am. 8.25 Lbs and 22.25" long.

We are eternally grateful to the fantastic staff in the maternity ward AND Dr Henry (pictured) who performed my emergency caesarian section.
