Monday evening at Monument

Brunch at Campbell's On Sunday

In between these meals we do actually do some physical exercise. Yesterday, at Campbell's we played on the ice on the canal (yes, it was scary...there were some ice fishermen there but we came across a few thinner spots and thought of the scene from Omen when the guy falls through the ice into the river). We didn't hang around. Instead we made a sledding path up in his garden. Great fun.

Mexican dinner at Monument on Saturday

Annabel cooks up a storm in a skillet that is much heavier than she imagined.

Dinner at Frank's on Friday

This is Frank's house. It is the first of the subdivision. It is the model home. Some of you may recall my earlier post in September where I mentioned he won numerous awards for this home. The last photograph shows Frank demonstrating his wireless internet control panel to John. From this device he can control the heat, lights, music, etc for his home. He can also rewiew in depth reports about how much electricity he has taken off the grid and how much he has given back.

Mum just so happened to be color co-ordinated with the interior wall colors.

They brought the snow with them

Patrick, Annabel, Finbar and Alfred brought the snow with them. They flew into Boston last night and had to stay overnight in a hotel. They had booked a Jeep Cherokee but instead were given a 6-seater Chrysler Pacifica.

In the blizzard last night Patrick was trying to manually open the tailgate and he discovered it is electric and opens via a button on the dashboard. He was not frustrated about that but rather excited that there may be other buttons he has yet to discover. I can tell Patrick is quite excited about this vehicle.

In the meantime we are snowed in. Dick is trying to clean our vehicles a bit. We called the guy that plows the parking lot last night but he is a no show today. Thank goodness I have work I can do from home today.

Campbell's Apartment

Bottom left with the light on. I took the interior photographs way before I took the exterior today. John and I went for a brisk walk on the island at the lock which is east of his apartment. You can imagine the view Campbell has from his apartment.
